Traffic monetization means turning visitors who would otherwise leave into a revenue source. Data shows 70-80% of students who inquire don't book (time conflicts, skill level mismatch, budget mismatch, etc.). Traditionally, this traffic is wasted. TutorNetworking lets you refer these students to suitable teachers and earn referral opportunity fees. This means: even while you sleep, even when fully booked, your teacher page continues generating income.

A Referral Opportunity Fee is paid to you when you refer students you can't accept to other teachers. We use 'Opportunity Fee' instead of just 'Referral Fee' for three important reasons:

1. Different Payment Timing: Traditional referral fees are usually a commission on full course purchases, making referrers worry 'If the student doesn't buy courses, I get nothing.' This limits referrals to close contacts only. Our Referral Opportunity Fee is paid after the first lesson (usually a trial) regardless of whether the student continues. This lets you confidently refer new potential partners.

2. Different Cost Structure: The receiving teacher pays 0% commission on teaching revenue—only this one-time Referral Opportunity Fee. This is a 'customer acquisition cost' not 'revenue share,' similar to advertising. It's an investment in quality student sources, not an ongoing cost burden.

3. Encourages Network Growth: Since referrers are guaranteed payment, they're willing to refer new collaboration partners beyond their close circle. This helps the entire teacher network grow healthily. Teacher referrals convert at significantly higher rates due to the trust transfer effect, making this acquisition opportunity inherently valuable.

Referral opportunities come from other teachers' real traffic. Teachers often cannot accept students due to:

• Schedule conflicts - Student's desired time slot is unavailable
• Price considerations - Student has limited budget, but teacher charges higher rates
• Full schedule - Already fully booked, cannot accept new students

These students need referrals to more suitable teachers. When your timing, pricing, and course capacity match these students' needs, you receive referrals. This is natural supply-demand matching, not platform allocation. You can actively find suitable collaboration partners yourself—this is not system-assigned. When your partner receives students who don't fit them, they may refer those students to you.

Referral Opportunity Fee Calculation

• The referral opportunity fee amount is freely set by you
• The platform deducts a 10% service fee from the referral opportunity fee
• Example: You set $1,000
  • Referred teacher pays: $1,000
  • Platform deducts 10% service fee: $100
  • You actually receive: $900

Complete Payment Timeline

1. Student completes first lesson → System records referral relationship established
2. Referred teacher pays referral opportunity fee → Must complete payment within 7 days, fee enters platform escrow
3. Platform disburses referral opportunity fee to you → Unified disbursement on the 5th of each month to your payment account

Important Notes

• Minimum disbursement amount: Single disbursement must reach $3,000
• Amount accumulation: If that month's referral opportunity fees don't reach $3,000, they accumulate to next month until reaching minimum disbursement amount
• Payment account: Please set up your payment account in the "Referral Fee Management" page

Example: Referred teacher completes first lesson on 1/10, must pay referral opportunity fee by 1/17, you will receive platform disbursement on 2/5 (provided that month's total referral opportunity fees reach $3,000).
