After selecting a brand's course package, pay securely through ECPay.

Payment process:

1. Choose a course package on the brand page
2. Click purchase and enter the ECPay payment page
3. Select payment method and complete payment
4. After successful payment, lesson credits are added to your account immediately

ECPay is Taiwan's leading third-party payment platform, supporting credit cards, ATM transfers, and more. Your transaction information is fully protected.

After purchasing a course package, you can book available time slots directly on the brand page.

Two booking modes:

• Student self-booking — Browse teachers' available time slots on the brand page and book at your convenience
• Teacher scheduling — Some brands use teacher scheduling mode, where the teacher arranges lesson times and notifies you after purchase

After successful booking, you'll receive a confirmation notification and a reminder before the lesson.

This is exactly the biggest advantage of a teaching brand — there are other teachers who can step in as substitutes.

The difference from hiring a private tutor:

• Private tutor is unavailable → Class is cancelled, you can only wait
• Teaching brand → The brand arranges another teacher to cover, your learning continues uninterrupted

Brand teachers understand each other's lesson progress and teaching methods, so substitutes don't start from scratch — they pick up seamlessly. You're paying for the brand's service, not a single teacher's time.

If the teacher hasn't appeared 15 minutes after the scheduled lesson start time, please contact the brand leader directly, or email support@tutornetworking.com. We'll help resolve the situation as soon as possible.

Yes, within the course validity period. Unused lessons can be refunded, no questions asked.

Refund calculation: Total purchase price minus (lessons used × original per-lesson price), then minus the payment processing fee. Used lessons are charged at the original price, not the discounted package price — the discount is a reward for completing all lessons. The payment processing fee is deducted because it was incurred at purchase and is non-refundable. Minimum refund is 0.

Course validity periods: 1-10 lessons = 3 months, 11-20 lessons = 6 months, 21+ lessons = 12 months. After the validity period expires, refunds are not accepted, but remaining lessons can still be used.

Just choose the right package size for your needs, and you can request a refund anytime within the validity period.

Teaching brands offer more assurance than finding individual tutors:

• Brand endorsement — Every brand has a public brand page with teaching philosophy and faculty clearly visible
• Organized management — Brands have unified course scheduling and quality management
• Secure payments — All payments go through ECPay third-party payment, no need for private transfers
• Lesson records — Booking and lesson records are all on the platform, fully traceable

You set a course at NT$1,000, and that's exactly what the student pays. We don't add any extra fees on top for the student.

All fees are deducted from your earnings, not charged to the student:

• Platform fee — 0% for invited students, 15% for platform students
• Brand management fee — Default 5~10% (adjustable by Founder)
• Service fee — 10% (includes payment processing, tax, invoicing, etc.)

Referral rewards — every member helps grow the brand:
Founders can set a referral reward rate (e.g. 3%), paid out from the management fee. Every teacher has a unique referral link. As long as the students you refer keep taking lessons — whoever teaches them — you earn ongoing referral rewards. Referral rewards don't affect the teaching teacher's lesson income.

This means recruitment isn't just the Founder's job. Every member has an incentive to bring in students, because those students become a continuous income source. The stronger the brand and the more students it has, the more everyone benefits.

Payments for the previous month's lessons are issued on the 5th of every month. Funds are automatically transferred to the bank account you set up in your brand dashboard, along with a detailed payslip that itemizes every deduction.

The platform has a minimum payout threshold of NT$1000. If your monthly earnings are below this amount, the money isn't lost — it's automatically carried forward and added to next month's payslip. Once the total reaches NT$1000 or more, the full amount will be transferred. This helps reduce bank transfer fees that would otherwise eat into small payouts. You can always check your accumulated balance in your payslip dashboard.

Absolutely not.

You have complete freedom to decide:

• Teaching content and methods — Completely designed by you based on student needs
• Materials used — The platform doesn't provide or restrict materials
• Course pricing — You set your own course package prices

Our role is to provide tools, not manage teaching. Brand pages, online payments, revenue sharing calculations, student management — we handle the administrative work so you can focus on teaching.

Every brand is an online tutoring center, and you're the one running it. You decide first what this center teaches, what to charge, and who your students are — then find teachers who fit that direction.

It's like opening a restaurant. You don't figure out what to serve based on whoever happens to be available in the kitchen. You decide on Japanese food or Italian first, then find the right chef.

As Founder, you're responsible for the brand direction:

• What courses to offer and at what price
• What kind of teachers to bring on
• How the brand presents itself to the world

A full schedule means you've hit your income ceiling. But earning money doesn't have to mean teaching every lesson yourself.

1. Refer students you can't take to partners you trust
You've been there — a student reaches out, but you have no room. Before, you could only apologize, or pass them along for free. Now every brand member has their own referral link. When a student joins through your link and keeps taking lessons — no matter who teaches them — you earn ongoing referral rewards. No extra lessons required, just extra income.

2. Build a brand and become the Founder
Bring together a few trusted partners to form a teaching brand. For every lesson your members teach, you earn a management fee. The bigger the brand and the more students you have, the more you earn — while payments, revenue sharing, and payroll all happen automatically. No spreadsheets needed.

Teaching time earns you hourly income. Building a brand earns you ownership income. You can do both at once.

Who are you referring to?
Your brand members — every one of them approved by the Founder. Students stay within the brand, served by partners you trust.

Where do referral rewards come from?
They come out of the Founder's management fee, not from the teaching teacher's lesson income. The referring teacher's reward doesn't affect what the teaching teacher earns at all.

How is it calculated?
Every member has a unique referral link. The first time a student visits the brand page through your link, they're recorded as your referral. Every time that student purchases a package or attends a lesson going forward, you earn referral rewards — regardless of who teaches them.

Simply put: refer once, earn continuously.

Yes. Because if you're fully booked, you're definitely turning students away.

The difference is: are you sending those students off for free, or getting something back every time?

When you join a brand, you have your own referral link. Students you can't take come in through your link, get taught by other brand teachers, and you earn ongoing referral rewards. Those students stay inside the brand — they're not lost.

You don't handle any admin. No payment processing, no reconciliation. Just teach your own classes, casually keep the students you can't take inside the brand — and earn an extra income stream.

Every teacher has a unique invitation link. The first time a student visits the brand page through your link, they're recorded as your "invited" student. If a student finds the brand page on their own — without using anyone's link — they're counted as a "platform" student.

What's the difference?

• Invited student — Platform fee is only 0%, so teachers earn more
• Platform student — Platform fee is 15%, because the platform brought them to you

In the "Student Management" section of your brand dashboard, every student has a source label right next to their name so you can see at a glance.

If the student hasn't appeared 15 minutes after the scheduled lesson start time, you have the right to mark the lesson as "No Show." Once marked, the lesson counts as completed and the student's lesson credit is deducted as normal.
